Family and Friends, I am excited to tell you about a mission trip I am embanking on to Argentina this June! 4 girls and myself from my Nappanee First Brethren Church youth group, our Youth Pastor John Howenstine, and his wife Kim will be working in an orphanage in Corral De Bustos, Cordoba. We are traveling to Argentina with servant's hands and loving hearts to bless people who may not be as fortunate and I know that we will be blessed in return. I feel very fortunate to have a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and family and friends who love and support me. Not everyone is so fortunate and I want to give to others as God has given me. At the time I am writing this letter, there are 5 months until departing to Argentina and there are many things that need to happen between now and then. My team and I know that above all else we need prayer partners who are saturating our trip in prayer. Enclosed is a list of prayer requests to give you an idea of what I feel my team and I will be needing prayer for, however, this list is quite short and no matter what prayers you pray, I know that I will be blessed. We know that our God is a God who provides and cares about His children and that when we ask and seek in Jesus name, we will receive. Secondly, we need financial partnership. In order to make this trip successful, we need help raising the money necessary for this trip. My financial goal is $2,400. This money will be used for plane tickets, food, living accommodations, and money for resources necessary to improve the orphanage and serve the people in Corral De Bustos. I am not asking you to partner with me out of obligation to me as a friend or family member. I hope that whether you choose to partner with me in prayer or partner with me financially, that you make will be out of service and obedience to our Father. I have no desire to boast in anyone or anything besides my Lord. I believe my service and yours will glorify God and God alone. I ask that as you join me in praying for this trip, please seek God's will in prayer and meditation about financially partnering with me for this mission trip. Thank you for your time and blessings.
