Dear family and friends,
I am writing this letter to tell you about an awesome opportunity I've been given. I, along with 6 others, will be traveling to Argentina. We will be staying in the central part of the country, serving at an orphanage in Corral de Bustos, Cordoba, Argentina. I am extremely excited to embark on this adventure.
This will be my second mission trip. I served in Lost Creek, Kentucky last summer with my youth group doing multiple types of service projects for a local private school. I was a Jr. Counselor at The Brethren Retreat in Shipshewana last summer and spent time with 5 - 8 year-olds along with pre-teens. This will be my first over-seas mission trip and I am looking forward to flying for the first time ever. Most anyone that has spent time with me knows that I have a passion for working with children. I am overjoyed at our over-all mission of showing the children at the orphanage the love of God. I'm so anxious to love on the children in Argentina and to get to know them and their stories.
There are a few ways that you can be a part of my trip! I will need tons of partners. I am asking for as many prayer partners as possible. I have included a list of some requests that I am specifically wanting prayer for. In addition to prayer partners, I am in need of financial partners as well. The cost of my trip will be around $2,400. This includes the flight to Argentina, lodging, and meals. While this seems like a large amount, I have no doubts that God will provide. I know that my experience in Argentina will outweigh the monetary amount. Even the smallest donations will make an impact towards my goal.
