REQUIREMENTS:
18 Fat or Skinny Quarters – For crazy quilt top 1.3mts – Trams 2.6mts of one fabric OR 0.6mt each of 5 different fabrics – Backing fabric 0.7 – Front scallop 0.7 – Back scallop 3mt – H640 Pellon 1mt – Heat’n’Bond

Sewing Machine Walking foot 25mm bias tape maker Best Press Spray Starch Variegated Quilting thread for bobbin Matching construction thread Erasable Marker Size 12 Denim needle Tape Measure Scissors Pins Rotary cutter, mat & ruler Mini iron & mat
Cutting Instructions: Cutting the Backing Fabric into Squares Cut 10 x 9 ½” strips across the fabric from selvedge to selvedge. Cross cut the strips into 9 ½” squares. This will give you 40 squares, but you only need 36. Cutting the Pellon into squares – Fold the Pellon in half lengthways & cut 10 x 8 ½” strips. Cross cut into 8 ½” squares. Fusing the Pellon & fabric squares together – Centre a Pellon square, with the glue dots facing down onto the wrong side of a fabric square, flip over to the right side of the fabric & press using a hot iron with steam. The purpose of the Pellon being smaller than the fabric is to reduce the bulk in the seam when the blocks are joined together.
