Taping Day Reminders • • • • • •

Transportation/ Lunch is up to the faculty advisor RMPBS parking lot may be full, so street parking may be necessary Every adult must sign in and must have name tag Be 30 minutes early, unless your time is 11:00 or 2:00, please be one hour early You will be at the studio 1 ½ hours (tour, control room, & taping) Take into account if your time overlaps student lunch or dismissal

Items to bring with you; • • • • • • • •

Permission forms for – students or additional people in photos or copyrighted pictures Student Credit List - students names spelled clearly & correctly 8 scripts Order forms and money for additional DVD’S and T-shirts Banner – 18 X 50 Costumes and props Background pictures (horizontal) Weather Cancellation occurs only if school is cancelled

At taping time • • • • • • • • •

Door must be open before going inside the Taping Studio - have students get into anchor shirts, costumes, get props, & banner, (Photos, Scripts, & Student Credit List go to the Floor Manager immediately!) Have anchors and reporters ready to talk to Director, who will go over their script with them It is acceptable for student scripts to be on the anchor desk during taping Teachers and parents are to remain seated in the Studio while the taping is in progress Have school paperwork ready for envelopes; – script, release agreements, & DVD/T-shirt orders When finished the faculty advisor will get a “RMPBS Air Date Schedule” Also, your certificates will be given to you and please check them over before you leave Your newscast will also be available at – http://www.rmpbs.org/ssn Have the anchors/students change out of their polo shirts & costume
