2 medium avocados, peeled and pitted ¼ tsp. garlic, minced ½ tsp. jalapeno pepper, diced ¼ cup organic tomato, chopped 1 Tbsp. sweet onion, finely chopped Sea salt (to taste) 2 tsp. fresh lime juice 2 tsp. fresh cilantro
Directions 1. In a sturdy medium-sized bowl, coarsely mash avocados with garlic and jalapeno pepper with a wooden spoon until the avocados are creamy, but still a little chunky. 2. Add the tomato, onion and salt to taste, and stir together. 3. Add cilantro and lime juice and stir once more.
Tips I prefer to use Hass avocados from California. To ripen the avocados faster and more evenly, store in a plastic bag with bananas. Add more garlic, jalapeno, onion, sea salt, lime juice or cilantro to your preferred taste. Add fresh, chopped organic tomatoes and garnish with extra cilantro for variety!
