Welcome to the 2016 Football Season! Hey Wildcat Fans, we are 14 weeks away from kick-off and another spirited season of Libertyville High School football! Communication—New This Season Okay team, here is the communication game plan for the 2016 season:
All coaches, team parent, and WFPA communications will come through the specific contact information that you provide when you register on our www.wildcatsfootball.org website. Please complete this process as soon as possible. Deadline for completion is July 1st. After July 1st, if you are not receiving communications, you need to confirm your contact information is up-to-date on your website registration. The website enables the coaches to contact players and parents via email and text communication and will eliminate the need to keep email distribution lists. Please get on board!
Website Registration—Action Needed—July 1st Deadline If you created an account last season, please log into your account at www.wildcatsfootball.org and confirm that the contact information is accurate for each parent (separate registration for each parent) and for each player. If you did not register last season, please create an account for each parent and player in your family using the instructions indicated in the Help/Documents Section on the left column of the website home page. Starting July 1st, all communication will come directly via the website communication tool. So please make sure your contact information is up-to-date! More detailed website registration process information for returning families is included in this mailing.
Wildcat Football Parents’ Association Did you know that WFPA does not receive any funds from game day ticket revenue? We also do not receive any funds from the players selling coupon books or from concession stand revenue. Those funds benefit the LHS athletics department and the various clubs that work concessions. Did you also know that each player will receive approximately $1000 worth of benefits from WFPA over a four year high school career? This is funded exclusively through our membership fees, advertising, and private donations. Our goal in 2016 is 100% membership of all football families at all levels. Your support is critical to our funding of the program.
Join WFPA—New Online Payment Process New this year - we heard your feedback! You can now join the Wildcat Football Parents’ Association and pay for your membership online via our www.wildcatsfootball.org website using Visa or MasterCard. Enclosed with this mailing is detailed information on joining WFPA and paying for your membership via the website. If you prefer to pay by check (payable to WFPA) please mail to: WFPA c/o Lisa Jost, 1133 Jessica Lane, Libertyville, IL 60048. Membership Costs for 2016: Varsity $100 Sophomore $80 Freshman $60 Note: Families with more than one player can join by paying for their oldest child only. All members will receive two tickets to the Scrimmage Barbecue, a Roster Lanyard, a Car Decal, a Double Walled Tumbler, and a Drawstring Backpack. The first 100 families to register are also guaranteed a Spirit Greeting in the annual Wildcat Yearbook. Spirit Greetings are available on a first come first served basis and are submitted via the website when you join WFPA. The system is live and ready for you to process your WFPA membership! Join now!
