October Experience: Grades 6 - 8 - One more week to register and pay $80 online at northsidecc.org/studentevents. A weekend at Camp Rudolph October 14 - 16 focusing on worship, fellowship, games, service, campfires, and more. Friends are welcome to sign up! SHINE TIME Kids (Elementary Praise Team, Grades 3-5) - This is a weekly elementary age praise team that leads worship in Shine Time on Sunday mornings. They sing, dance and get everyone up on their feet to praise God! If your child is interested, register them by October 1 to attend our first practice. Coed Volleyball - starts Tuesday October 4, 7:00 PM. The games will be open-gym pickup so come early! The first 24 players 15 years or older to sign in, play (must have signed parental consent if under 18)! Call or text Sonny Tesh (757-342-1358) or Jennice Reimert (757-604-3315) for more information. High School Mexico Mission Project July 2017 - An informational meeting for interested high school students and parents will be held in the Student Center Sunday, October 9 at 12:15 PM. [email protected]. High School Gathering - Every Sunday 10:45 AM - Student Center Cafe. HS students connect with each other and student ministry leaders while studying a variety of topics that encourage questions and discussion. HS Community Groups - 9 - 12th Grade, Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Student Center or Thursday nights with the Claibornes (for 10 - 12th Grade). Benevolence Requests - If you or someone within our congregation is struggling to meet a financial need, our benevolence team is available to help you. The benevolence team is led by Brook Thornton, and overseen by adult minister Larry Lamb. To discuss other ways this team can help you, please email Larry at

We are need of more volunteers to occasionally help deliver cookies to the following areas: Fox Hill in Hampton, the Fort Eustis area of Newport News, Southern Newport News, the Lackey area, and Poquoson.
