The Salisbury Post Friday 7th October Thanks to D. R. Jones Building Group In assembly today, we said a big thank you to Paul Rowland from D.R. Jones Building Group. Paul has been the site manager for the roof works and in our opinion, he has done an AMAZING job! We sang Paul a special song to convey our thanks for fixing our roof and keeping us safe throughout the whole process. We are so proud of our lovely new roof and very grateful to Jones Group who really have been brilliant. Thanks Paul—we appreciate everything you have done for Salisbury Road Primary. We’ll miss you … but not the scaffolding!
We Are going cashless
Doors, Doors, Doors Have you noticed that the scaffolding has nearly all gone? It’s hard to believe after all this time isn’t it! This means that we will finally have all of our doors back and Year 5 and Year 6 will be able to use their entrances. Therefore, the children will be coming out into the back playground again at the end of the day from now on.

Remember everybody, that from November 1st we will become a cashless school. Please make sure that all mobile numbers and email addresses are up to date.
Harvest Service Plans It’s that time of year again—our harvest service will be held at St Judes church on Tuesday 18th October.
You will be receiving a letter with more information and an opt out slip if you would prefer your child not to attend for religious reasons. We would love it if parents would like to join us—you can see when your child’s service will be taking place in the table to the left.

The Year 1 Cake Sale raised a brilliant £95 . Thanks to all of the bakers and everyone who bought a yummy cake! Congratulations to Miss Gill and her partner on the arrival on their lovely little son Oscar! Oscar was born a little bit earlier than expected but he and Miss Gill are doing fine!
Brilliant Behaviour Over the past week we have been having a really big focus on behaviour as we move around the school. We have asked the children to line up more quietly and they have risen to this request brilliantly. The older children, especially, are showing themselves to be excellent role models. Well done from your proud teachers. Keep up the brilliant, respectful behaviour.
Well done to FPK - our winning class this week– that’s an amazing week for you! School Percentage to date: 95.66% School Percentage last week: 96.38—well done
