This is a post I wrote for the Yolo County Animal Services Shelter Facebook as promotional materials. This post would introduce the viewer to National Pet Day on April. 11th. The aim was to raise awareness for animals that need adoption, and market this dog, Timothy. I crafted this post using a humorous and positive tone to appeal to Facebook readers, and capitalized Timothy’s key features to attract people’s eyes. For the visual, because pit bulls may appeal scary to some people, therefore, I used a pink background, decorated with some hearts and dog images to create a warm atmosphere. I also added a dialogue bubble to highlight some facts about Timothy and build a closer relationship between Timothy and viewers.  

  Today is National Pet Day (April 11th)! It is a day to celebrate and cherish your lovely pets! Give your adopted family members a little extra attention they deserved on the day.
