This is a post I wrote for the Yolo County Animal Services Shelter Facebook as promotional materials. The aim was to introduce this dog, Benji, to the Facebook viewers and help him get adopted. I crafted this post by appealing conversational and friendly tone. To help the viewers find more details about Benji conveniently, I added Benji’s Petfinder profile at the end of the post. For the visual, I chose a picture of Benji when he was playing outside to appeal his playful nature. I also used bright yellow color to highlight Benji’s name and used the decorations to draw eyes on Benji’s photo. Hopefully viewers will find Benji lovely and bring him home!

Hi everyone! Today we would like to introduce you our new friend Benji! Young Benji is a friendly Pit Bull Terrier who loves rolling around on the grass and playing with other dogs. His playful nature makes for an awesome addition to your family. Worried about having wee-wee accidents? Benji’s house trained! He’s the perfect jog partner and loves physical activity, but he’s always up for a nice cuddle on the couch. We recommend a home without cats for Benji but other dogs are A-Okay.
