Step 1 — Replace a battery 

Peel back the sticker on the bottom of the device to reveal the two screws



Unscrew the two t-5 screws

Shove the flat head screw driver into the edge of the device. Pry the faceplate



Release the yellow ribbon cable

Identify green motherboard. Unscrew the three screws holding the board in place



Remove the motherboard from the back plate

unplug the battery from the board



Plug the new battery into the white receptacle on the green board

Put the green motherboard back into the back plate and secure with the 3 screws



Reconnect the yellow ribbon cable and snap that mutha back together!

Insert t-5 screws and tighten



Replace the label to hide screws
