In just a few short months my family will begin preparing for Spring Festival. It is the biggest holiday in China! All my aunts, uncles, and cousins will spend time together eating lots of good food and playing games. We, like most Chinese people, eat dumplings filled with pork and vegetables. My aunts, uncles, and friends will bring me red envelopes with money in them as a way to wish me luck in the new year. Spring Festival is my favorite time of year! (Xie Xie) Thank you...for letting me tell you a little about my life in China. I hope one day you can all come to China to visit!

Family Challenge for Parents Go! We often hear stories of preschool kids who boldly told their friends, grandparents, or teachers about Jesus. Their confidence and ability to share the truth of Jesus through the Wordless Book and Bible verses amaze those who listen. Is it possible that a child can so clearly and passionately share their faith? Absolutely yes! The faith of a child is priceless and their love for the Lord shines. Be encouraged if your children are bold about sharing their faith and keep coaching them on the basics of the Gospel.

Celebrate God’s Love (Jesus and the Samaritan Woman)
Kids, color the verse and cut it out. Hang it on your fridge or next to your bed. Remember, you can grow by reading your Bible, coming to church, and praying at home.

Why or why not?
Let’s go tell others! How can you tell others about Jesus? Here are some ideas:

You can show others you are a Christian with your actions. Good actions are the result of having Jesus as the Leader of your life. We also call this the Fruit of the Spirit, found in Galatians 5:22-23. The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
