HARVEST CELEBRATION
Our Harvest Assembly will be on MONDAY 26th SEPTEMBER 2016 at 9.00 a.m. This is a whole school celebration. Year 4 will give a short performance in celebration of Harvest time. We hope all Year 4 parents will be able to join us. We would like all the children to bring in donations of food for charity which will go towards helping families who are going through a difficult time and need a little help and support. This can happen to anyone of us at any time. I am sure that we would all hope that people would be kind to us in our hour of need. Our Harvest Donations will be given to Slough Food Bank this year which is a local charity supporting local people in a crisis with emergency food parcels. Please send in your donations from Monday 19th September 2016. All the donations will form part of our Harvest display for our assembly before going to Slough Food Bank. Due to the way the charity works we can not accept fresh produce. Please send in as many items of food as you can manage in tins, boxes or packets of sweet or savoury food items. Suggestions :-
Tinned Vegetables or Soup. Pasta or other Sauces. Cakes or Biscuits. Breakfast Cereals. Tinned Meat or Fish. Tinned Fruit or Puddings. Jelly or Angel Delight. Jams or Spreads. Chocolate or Sweets. Rice, Pasta or Pulses. Sugar, Tea, Coffee, or other Hot Drinks.
