QUICK START In this quick start, find the settings of the following functions: :

› Directory and communication configuration › Event sending › Exchanges via XW/XB IN/OUT › Datalogs sending by email or FTP. › Update remote directory

DIRECTORY SETTINGS Before editing the program, it’s necessary to identify the recipients with whom the controller can communicate. Then, enter their contact and choose their type. For this, open the em4 software and access to the directory from the tab “Directory”.

• SMS › The PIN Code is sufficient for an SMS exchange

• EMAIL › Get a Data SIM card for an exchange by email › Set the APN field from GSM/ GPRS tab › Set the SMTP tab (email sender choice)

Received a SMS or an email when an event happened on your application

• CONFIGURATION › Double click on the block › Choose the number of events (1 to 24) from the Parameters tab

› Open the Message tab

› Check the send type, SMS or Email

› Collect the recipients from (…) the directory

› Choose your recipients to inform

a file name

› Choose a file sending period

› After a double click on the Data logging block: › Open the Parameters tab › Select

the adress range

› Activate if necessary the period archiving and set it › Enter labels, they inform the head of the csv file

N.B: For email or FTP sendings, do not forget to configure the SMTP tab, in COMMUNICATION, with the informations given by your provider. For send by FTP, set up the tab FTP with your server settings.
