Members in Attendance: Todd Hughes, J.D. Lotz, Christopher Mowry, Kyle Kern, John Noe, Murray Devine. Student Services Members in Attendance: Bryan Valentine Guest(s): Mary-Beth Wallace, Chris Davis, Zachery Stoup, Jonathan Campbell Call to Order: Called to order by Todd Hughes at 4:05pm. Amendments to the Meeting Agenda: Kyle motions to approve the agenda. Christopher seconds. Approved via unanimous vote. Amendments to the Meeting Minutes: Kyle motions to approve pending minor changes. J.D. seconds. Approved via unanimous vote. President and Vice-President Updates: Todd announces that he has selected Chris Davis to replace J.D. Lotz as Vice-President when J.D. graduates in December. Mathew Ward has resigned as C.F.O. Murray Devine will also be graduating in December and a replacement will need to be found. Todd, John, and Darren attended the Sam Gibbons banquet. Hopefully Sarasota-Manatee will host this banquet in Fall 2014. Bryan enters at 4:14pm. Zachery exits at 4:14pm. Todd would like to remind everyone that we are to work as a team, to remember the Chain of Command and to follow the mission statement of S.G.A. Old Business: Mary-Beth talked with Suzette Jones from ‘BIG’ and would like to set her up with Toni in career services. Bryan has heard back on getting an E-mail for Dr. Walker, a sponsor will be needed. John would like to speak with Tampa there program that is similar to ‘BIG’. Todd notes the Ruth mentioned G.C.C.F. is a contributor to USFSM. New Business: None for 10/30/2013. Advisor Updates: Bryan is working to get a number of events ready for Spring 2014. Chris Davis exits at 4:28pm. Never heard back from SailFuture. Murray is a member of this program. Branch Updates: Kyle-Approve $250 for Bulls mentoring Bulls.
Announcements/Upcoming Events: Veterans appreciation day will be next Tuesday, November 5th. There will be a Judicial Summit this Friday, November 1st,, at the St. Pete campus.
