Versailles Baptist Church exists to glorify God by helping people Decide to follow Christ, Devote to spiritual maturity, and Demonstrate their faith to others.
$1,916,381! That is what you have pledged so far to our Imagine: Freedom to Do More Campaign. I never dreamed we would reach our top goal but praise God we serve a Lord who is able to do more than we can even imagine!! Not only did God supply commitments to pay off our debt, but He has supplied extra pledges to enable us to fund some of the dreams we shared as a church family. I want to say thank you for your generosity, support, and encouragement for this great task. Thank you to our campaign leadership team for faithfully guiding us through this endeavor. You are such a wonderful church family and I am privileged to serve as your pastor. Remember -- these are pledges, not receipts. This money has not been given—only pledged. It will take us faithfully honoring our pledges over the next three years for this to become a reality. Just imagine—if we honor our commitments, in 3 years we can be debt free as a church and able to dream big dreams for ministry in our church, community, and world! Pastor Michael
Member News Attendance for April 9, 2017 8:15 Worship—146, 10:45 Worship—387 Sunday School—346, On-line—22, Spanish—13 Attendance for April 16, 2017 8:15 Worship—266, 10:45 Worship—564, Online—18, Spanish—22 Quarterly Members Meeting April 30th at 6:00 PM We celebrate 840 in attendance for our Easter Services. This is the largest Easter Sunday attendance since we began counting in 2008! You are invited to a bridal shower for Kaylee Hicks on Sunday, April 30th at 2 pm in the 3rd Floor Connector. Kaylee and Vince (Gouge)’s registries can be located at www.theknot.com (Macy’s, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Williams-Sonoma). Please RSVP to Tammy at 333-3564 or Dawn at 333-5266. The Women's Book Club will meet on Thursday, April 27th 7:00 PM at Cheryll Crowe's house. We will read Stones for Bread by Christa Parrish. Login to EasyTithe.com Click on Scheduled Giving on the left side of the page Select the Imagine Campaign as your Fund Fill in all the fields and press Activate Schedule Set up your Pledge Tracking by clicking “My Account” Fill in the fields for your pledge and submit Be sure to check the box that says “track my online giving toward my pledge.” When your scheduled gift is made, it will be deducted from your pledge balance.

GREAT DAY OF SERVICE—Apr. 29 The Great Day of Service is a chance for you to serve others in our community in the name of Christ. You can select from over 15 different projects on this exciting day of serving alongside your Versailles Baptist family. Where will you serve? Deadline to sign up is this Sunday, Apr. 23.
Great Day of Service:—Needed: New and used clothing (in good condition) for all ages, children's books, new or used, to read and give to children at the Housing Authority. Just drop them off in the office or the Connection Center in the Family Room.
