HUSKIES SKILLS CAMP: JULY 30-AUG 1 HUSKIES ELITE POSITIONAL CAMP: AUGUST 1-3
SCSU VOLLEYBALL CAMPS Chad Braegelmann, Head Volleyball Coach Chad is excited to help the growth and development of volleyball in central Minnesota. He has had great success as a collegiate head coach with his 17 years of experience and is entering his fourth year at SCSU. Braegelmann helped the Huskies to a 16-14 record during the 2017 campaign. It was the team’s best finish since 2004. He has coached 54 allconference award winners, five freshmen of the year recipients and three conference MVP’s.
Marci Taumalolo, Assistant Volleyball Coach Marci brings a wealth of experience to the Huskies Volleyball squad; as a former U of Minnesota Golden Gopher All-American Libero and with 10 years of experience as both a Division I and Division II assistant coach. Taumalolo spends time training setters, outside hitters and liberos, helping the Huskies libero lead the NSIC in digs and digs per set the entire season of 2017.

ELITE POSITIONAL CAMP
St. Cloud State Facilities
This camp for grades 9-12 will focus on the development of individual and position specific skills and training along with team training. Camp is designed for campers with varsity and/or club volleyball experience or are thinking of playing in college. Each session will have specific time for positional work, (setters, outside hitters, middle blockers, liberos/defensive specialists) while also working in a team setting and spending time on teamwork and general skills in team competitions. Position work will contain drills unique to each position. Campers will be separated by skill level and grade. There is also a film session planned for campers to see themselves playing. All campers will receive a t-shirt.
St. Cloud State has one of the premier Division II facilities in the Midwest • Halenbeck Hall is home to the Huskies Volleyball team featuring three volleyball courts. • Halenbeck South (Fieldhouse) has an additional six volleyball courts. Residence hall rooms are available for the Elite resident campers where each camper will be assigned a roommate. If you have a roommate request please note them on the registration. Dining accommodations will feature ordered in meals and buffet style meals in our air conditioned dining hall.

This camp, open for both boys and girls entering grades 4-9, will focus on the development of the six basic volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, digging and blocking). Campers will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned through instruction during camp with various games, competitions and 6-on-6 play. Campers will be separated by grade/skill level. There will be a film session for campers to see themselves playing. All campers will receive a T-shirt!
