Game Notes FIRST PITCH The Bullets open up their Centennial Conference schedule as they take on Muhlenberg College this Saturday afternoon in a doubleheader at Kirchoff Field.

the plate this season batting .386 while Billy Brittingham has been a force to reckoned with in the middle of the lineup with three home runs already on the season.  On the mound, junior R.J. Hennessey has been impressive thus far posting a 1.52 ERA while striking out 32 in 29.2 innings pitched.

ALL-TIME SERIES Gettysburg holds a 66-48 lead in the all-time series that started in 1914. The Bullets have captured 11 of the last 13 meetings. LAST TIME OUT The Bullets lost a pair of games in a doubleheader when they visited Penn State-Harrisburg on Tuesday afternoon. Penn State-Harrisburg won both games in the last inning on walk-off hits. In the first game, Ryan Augustus hit an oppoisite field solo home run and Ryan LaCoe hit a two RBI double to highlight the Bullets offense. In game two, which was ended after five innings due to darkness, Ryan LaCoe went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored while Dominick Gasparro hit in an RBI in his first action since sustaining an injury in Florida. LAST SEASON VERSUS MUHLENBERG The Bullets and Mules split last season in their doubleheader in Muhlenberg. In the opener, Muhlenberg took an early 2-0 lead when it pushed across a pair of runs int he first inning. But Brad DeMartino blanked the Mules the rest of the way on his way to a six-hit, sevens trikeout complete game win. The Bullets scored an unearned run in the sixth inning and then recieved clutch hits from Churck Probst in the seventh and Logan Sneed in the ninth to take a 3-2 lead and defeat the Mules. In the nightcap, Robbie Hopes and Stephen Koes both blasted a home runs for the Mules to lead them to a 6-5 victory. Gettysburg rallied to bring the game within one run but Chris Bunero came up with a big strike out to end the game and record a save on the evening for Muhlenberg. SCOUTING THE MULES  Muhlenberg is 2-3 in their last five game since return ing north from their spring break trip in Auburndale, Fla. One of those wins came over Wilkes University when the Mules tallied 11 hits to bring in 10 run as they defeated the Colonels 10-4. Sophomore Billy Brittingham went 2-for-4 at the plate including a doulbe and two runs batted in while freshman Paul Poppert struck out seven over five innings to record a victory for the Mules.  Freshman Robert Cappadona is leading the Mules at
