Opening Kick The Bullets close out their five-match homestand as they host the Washington College Shoremen in a key Centennial Conference affair. Washington is currently in third place in the conference standings with 13 points while the Bullets are three points out in fourth. Senior Night Tonight's game marks the final regular-season home appearance for Gettysburg seniors Peter Como, KJ DePontes, Ryan Kennedy, Henry Smith, Jordy Steelman, and Mark Yearick. The six will be honored in a brief ceremony before the start of the match. The Series Gettysburg holds a 22-8-5 lead over Washington in the all-time series that stretches back to 1947. It has been a tight series as of late, with each of the last four matches decided by one goal. The Bullets have won the last two contests. Last Time Out Senior Henry Smith scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner on a free kick, to lift the Bullets to a 2-1 double-overtime victory over The College of New Jersey here at Clark Field this past Wednesday night. With the win, Gettysburg earned its first-ever men's soccer victory over TCNJ, which was 4-0-1 alltime versus the Bullets entering the night. Freshman Thomas Keane started in goal for Gettysburg and made a pair of saves while blanking TCNJ in the first half. Junior Max Karen came on to stop four shots over the final 56:17. Last Meeting with Washington KJ DePontes scored the game's only goal while Peter Como made six saves as the Bullets earned a 1-0 victory at Washington last season. Josh Samuels made three saves for the Shoremen while Como made five of his saves in the second half. He also sealed the win when he intercepted a corner kick in the closing seconds.

Regional Ranking The Bullets earned a spot in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region rankings for the sixth week in a row when they were slotted eighth in the Mid-Atlantic Region poll, released on Tuesday. The Bullets were one of four teams in the poll representing the Centennial Conference, along with No. 1 Franklin & Marshall College, No. 3 Haverford College, and No. 7 Johns Hopkins University. Player of the Week For the second time this season, senior Henry Smith has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week following a 1-0-1 week in which he scored three unassisted goals. He opened by scoring the game-winning goal in the 66th minute of a 2-1 nonconference victory over Susquehanna University, then netted both of the team's goals in its 2-2 tie with Dickinson College, converting a penalty kick and a free kick. Tickling the Twine Smith has been red-hot lately for the Bullets, scoring six goals over the team's last four matches. He leads the Centennial Conference in both goals (10) and points (24) and for his career, he ranks ninth in school history with 65 points. Scouting Washington  The Shoremen enter tonight's match riding a fivegame winning streak following their 3-1 non-conference win at Catholic this past Wednesday.
