REGISTRATION: 1. Applications will be available in Student Services, Main Office, and on the school website beginning Friday, May 16, 2014. 2. Complete the WFHS 2014 Summer School Application Form 3. Complete the Technology Acceptable Use Policy Form 4. Submit Forms to the Main Office by Friday, June 13, 2014 5. Students are admitted in the following priority order: Seniors needing a class to graduate (2014) Juniors needing a class to be promoted and graduate (2015) Sophomores needing a class to be promoted Freshmen needing a class to be promoted COST: There is no charge to students for 2014 (GradPoint) Summer School. DATES: Summer School will consist of a 5 day week July 7 – First Day for Students August 5 – Last Day for Students August 7 – Graduation, Enloe High School, 7 pm HOURS OF INSTRUCTION: 8:30 a.m. until 12 Noon (Monday – Friday) COURSES: Credit Recovery ONLY (Not Original Credit) English I English III English IV Civics and Economics US History World History Earth Science Physical Science

Technology Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) Privileges As a student at Wake Forest-Rolesville High School, you have privileges to use WCPSS e-mail (Lotus) and the World Wide Web (WWW) as well as access to use networked resources at Wake Forest-Rolesville High School. The technology is provided to further your educational goals and objectives. Responsibilities You are expected to abide by this Acceptable Use Policy(AUP) as well as all current WCPSS Board of Education policies and North Carolina and federal laws. If you violate this AUP, you will lose your computer privileges for a period of time based on the severity of the violation. If you violate Board policies, state or federal laws, you will face additional and more serious consequences in accordance with those policies and laws. Academic Consequences of Violations Losing computer privileges may negatively affect your grades and may cause you to fail a course. If you lose your privileges, you may not use any computer in Wake Forest-Rolesville High School, and you may not bring a personal laptop to school to use for the duration of the violation. If you have access to the necessary hardware/software at home, you can complete computerrelated assignments at home. Otherwise, you may propose alternate, non-technology assignments to your teachers. Your teachers decide whether your proposal constitutes acceptable alternatives that meet the learning objectives of the original assignments. In
computer-based courses, there may be no valid alternatives, and the result may be that you fail the course. Any AUP violation may result in additional disciplinary action in accordance with the WCPSS Code of Student Conduct and state and federal law.
AUP Form must be signed by student and parent and returned to the student’s Academic Coach before network account is issued.
