A big thank you for the donations and taking the time to volunteer at the Harvest Festival. Our fishing booth looked fantastic and was a hit (see below)! We had a very busy week exploring different cultures and traditions. We learned about the history of Halloween, celebrated Dia de Los Muertos, and learned about the Seikh culture from Ms. Simran (see photos).

Important Dates: November 9th – Science Fair 9:15am-11:10pm 10th – Pizza Thursday-forms due 11/8th. 11th – Veteran’s Day- No School 17th- Research Reports Due; Class Thanksgiving Feast (details to follow) 18th- Class field trip to B Street Theater 21st- 25th- Fall Intersession- No School

Thanksgiving Potluck Feast Thursday, November 17th 10:45am-12:30pm Walrus Class The Science Fair is this Wednesday. Our class will be presenting several experiments done in class Our Thanksgiving Feast will be in class on the 17th (details on right). Please visit the school website to sign up to bring an item. Our field trip to B Street Theater is approaching quickly. It is a small venue so only 7 parents per class are permitted and priority will go to families that can drive students on this field trip. We are still in need of drivers.  Reminder: Research reports are due next week.
