Mark this date February 12, 2017 on your calendar. The JM UMM will be hosting a Valentine Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall following Worship. (This luncheon was
formerly called the Joe Neal Valentine Dinner). Join us for a time of showing love for each other as Christ loved all. The menu, prepared by Scott Ramsey, will be;
Delicious Roast Pork Loin, Dreamy Mashed Potatoes,
Lovely Green Beans, Tenderly Tossed Salad and Be My Sweet Dessert.
The cost for the luncheon will be by donation with all proceeds to benefit projects of the JM UMM. Common English Bibles are available at the bottom of the ramp to the parlor. If you would like to follow along during the scripture reading, feel free to take a copy and leave it in your pew.
Reservations will be necessary, so please watch the
weekly Whisper, JM e-mail announcements and the February Voice for further information.

Know Your Job Workshops in the Western District What: Workshops to help church officers and committee members understand their “jobs” in the church and to share ideas for ministry. Who: Everyone! Come if you are new or if you’ve been doing your job for years and years. Helpful for both chairpersons and members of committees or work teams, or for anyone interested. Where: Milton United Methodist Church When: Saturday, January 28 Each class listed will be offered twice so that you can attend at least four of the sessions if you choose. Come for one, come for all four - you decide.

The Lydia Circle will meet at noon February 4 at Crumpets and Tea, 926 4th Avenue for lunch. The cost is $11.75 plus gratuity. Reservations are needed by February 1. Hostess is Kay Lewis (304) 522-6630. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend to meet members of JM. Come join us. Great Decisions 2017 Forum here at Johnson Memorial on Tuesday nights, starting February 28, at 7PM. Books and shared DVD are $25 ($27/couple.) Stewardship & Finance Committee will meet January 24 at 7pm. Johnson Memorial Trustees will meet January 29, 2017 after worship. Worship Committee will meet February 5, 2017 after worship.
