Meeting was called to order by President, Rhonda Shehee, at 6:35 pm and introductions were made. Attendance- Steve Hrinko, Ivette Bennett, Lauren Hoffman, Heather Mobley, Scott Pryfogle, Heather Harris, Tai Wong, Barb Georges, Louisa Clark, Jim Evans, Lynne Evans, Anita Sherrard, Tami Hinz, Amy Seibert, Wes Elifritz, Rhonda Shehee, and Lauren Hoffman were present. Meeting Minutes from August 2016 meeting were presented by Lauren Hoffman and approved with a motion by Heather Mobley and seconded by Amy Seibert. Athletic Director Report – Wes Elifritz An athletic representative that Wes is working with can do blankets from the Senior Banner photos. The cost per blanket is $70. Contact Wes if interested. The Athletic Department is doing an Own the Line fundraiser for the remaining home football games. Individuals can pick and purchase a line for $20. Winners are determined by where the ball ends up at the end of the game, which line. Multiple home games this week at North. Senior Night for Fall Sports will be Friday, October 28, 2016, for Fall athletic teams not having their own such as golf and cross country. Athletic Dept has opened a purchase order for $1500 for WNABC for teams working stadium clean up. Wes’s Mom will be at the October meeting along with the Auctioneer’s wife to speak about the WNABC Spring Auction. There is still a need for an event chair/co-chairs. Please let Wes know if you are interested. Treasurer’s Report –Tai Wong The financial report was sent out to everyone. If you have any questions, please contact Tai. WNABC Bylaws Review and Update – Lauren Hoffman Lauren is working on updating the bylaws and sent out a first preliminary draft to Officers for their review. Fundraising Presentation – United Games North parent, Larry Stevens, introduced Coach Roesink who presented on United Games as a potential fundraiser for WNABC. United Games is launching a new game app in Fall 2016 that he described as being like Angry Birds, Candy Crush, Pokemon Go in one game that will be NFL themed and would be played along during live NFL games. He stated that they had agreements with the NFL and MLS but could expand to other sports and more licensing agreements. Advertisers for the app. are Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes, Papa John’s, All State and State Farm. WNABC could be an affiliate at no charge since they are a non-profit. WNABC would need to promote the game and app and sign up players. WNABC is asked to provide names, cell phone numbers and email addresses from those they sign up. The more individuals that sign up and play the game and app. then the more money the WNABC could

Need to make a decision quickly to make the most money as the game app. is going live in October. Players can play the game for free or by tokens ranging from $1 to $1.71. Players can also watch commercials to get tokens. WNABC could get 10% for every player signed up. Some personal data would be shared. Rhonda Shehee will discuss this opportunity further with Wes Elifritz and get back to the group about a decision and/or vote. IX.

Concessions Report – Amy Seibert Concessions Core Workers are asked to keep track of foods in the Concessions and to clean up at the end of their shifts. Report anything needed. The lock box was changed and there are new safe combination and lock box policies to safeguard everyone. Need to reach out to Amy Seibert for information. Trying to implement best practices and increase safety and security. The drawer should always be $250 to start and signed off by 2 people. Want to make sure the doors, locks and safes are secure when working and closing in Concessions. WNABC Membership – Lauren Hoffman WNABC had a table at Schedule Pick Up days and during North Open House for membership, information and promotion of WNABC. Members that signed up have been added to the WNABC email list if requested and membership money collected was deposited in the WNABC account. WNABC Spring Fundraising Event –Wes Elifritz This was covered under the Athletic Director’s report. Team Updates Cheerleading is doing Powder Puff games as a fundraiser. Baseball is doing a fundraiser at the Polaris Texas Roadhouse all day on September 27, 2016. Baseball will also be doing a mattress fundraiser sale again this year. Boys Soccer is doing a fundraiser at the Maxtown Chipotle from 4:30 to 8:30 pm and will send out an email. Customers can show the actual flyer, on their cell phone or verbally. The Orthopedic One Spirit Sprint is Sunday, October 9, 2016. Please send names of those participating from your individual teams to Tai Wong. Need to know who was registered so that your team gets credit. Spirit points can be earned for those cheering, pep bands, cheerleaders, etc. The top participating schools get bonus money and top school will get $10,000. New Business The XC Middle School event will not be held as the $5,000 facility charge was too expensive for the group wanting to use WNHS. Adjournment – Meeting was adjourned at 8:32 pm.
