Reading: 5 Senses & Stories Super Senses; Review; Assessment; Stories Domain: Chicken Little and The Three Little Pigs.
Phonics: /o/, /c/, /g/, and /i/
Students will orally blend sounds using large motor gestures and recognize the beginning sound in a word. Students will read and write short vowel CVC (consonant vowel consonant) words. Lastly, students will recognize and isolate the /o/, /c/, /g/ and /i/ sounds.
Math: Topics 2 & 3 Problem Solving: Use Objects; Reteach; Assessment; Topic 3: Counting 6 & 7; Reading and Writing 6 & 7.

If you have not signed and returned your child’s progress report, please do as soon as possible. Wednesday is our field trip to Chimney Rock State Park! Permission form and money are due TOMORROW! The cost is $8. If writing a check, please make it payable to LLCA: CFA. Chaperones need to meet us at Chimney Rock at 9am! Please make sure to send your child in comfortable shoes as we will be outside all day. Send your child’s lunch in a paper or plastic bag labeled with their name. Please send disposable items. Teachers will not be responsible for water bottles, spoons, etc. Please also remember that siblings and non-LLCA students are not permitted to attend field trips. Please see the Student Handbook for more details. We got a bit ahead last week on our letter sounds, so there will be NO show-n-tell this week!
