Zeta Tau Alpha Lehigh Valley Alumnae Chapter Newsletter
Greetings from the President Hello Spring Sisters! I hope you are all as happy as I am to see that spring, along with some warmer days has finally arrived!! First of all, I want to say a huge Thank You to both Naomi and Milly for such an amazing job of co-chairing our ZetaDay, along with the rest of the sisters who helped! I had so much fun it was hard to see it come to an end! I also wanted to congratulate our chapter on the awards we received for best Alumnae/Collegiate involvement and Membership Increase! Awesome job, ladies! There are so many things to look forward to and although we are starting to wind down that doesn’t mean you can’t call one of your sisters to spend the day outside or just to hang out. This has been one amazing year and I am humbled that I had the chance to serve as your president. Thank you for making it the best year it could have been, and I look forward to seeing you at our final sisterhood dinner of the year at the Hampton Winds. Zeta Love, Jamie Galicki
VP I Programming – Heather Uff VP II Membership – Heidi Geist Happy spring, ladies! We want to thank everyone that was able to make it to our senior initiation held on Sunday, April 27th. It was a great event to welcome the seniors from the collegiate chapters of Lambda Zeta and Kappa Iota into the alumnae world. We had a lot of fun, and wish our seniors from Lehigh University and Moravian College much success in the alumna world. As we look forward into the fall, we hope to have another successful year as we did in 2013/2014, and plan many new and exciting events for out chapter. We also would like to thank our EC and PC committee for all their hard work and dedication this past year. We had a very successful year and could not have done it without your dedication and efforts. Now, we would like to congratulate our newly elected Executive Council and Programming Committee for 2014-2015! Historian – Cortney Selander Hello sister, and happy spring!
I am so glad the warm weather is finally starting to make an appearance! ZetaDay this year was a great success! For those who were able to make it, it was so great to see you! Pictures from the day are now up on our Facebook page, so please check them out when you get a chance. Other than that, there isn’t too much new news on the Historian front. As always, please send any photos from events to me at
[email protected] so that I can include them on Facebook and our website. The next Themis report will be sent in on May 1st, so keep an eye out for the Summer issue to see if we are able to make it into Themis! Thanks!
Zeta Love, Cortney

ZetaDay Co-chair – Naomi Pratt Zeta is forever; that phrase was certainly proven during the ZetaDay weekend! Everyone came together to make such a special weekend, and Milly and Naomi truly appreciate all the help given. From the Friday night fun; seeing the collegiate laughing and dancing; to recognizing a special sister with over 50 years of sisterhood, we created an event to span the generations. The energy level created was awesome and everyone had a great time! The event also raised over $4,000 for the ZTA Foundation! That is incredible! We also were able to gather so much food and gift cards to help our community service project, The Backpack Pals. So many children will be impacted by these donations and will have food over weekends and holidays.
