NASA/Brazoria County Alumnae Chapter Newsletter

From Living the Creed to the Year of the ZTA Texas Zeta Day 2013 The NASA/Brazoria County ZTA Alumnae Chapter invites you to celebrate “The Year of the ZTA” with us in 2013-2014. Last year we had a terrific time honoring our founders as we Lived the Creed. Our meetings ranged from a hilarious game night where we were “humble in success, without bitterness in defeat” to our annual service project – Pink Out for Bunco – where we strived for “devotion to the Right, the Good, and the True.” We added a new service project last year and adopted a family for Christmas. I was honored to deliver the gifts to the mother myself. She was little apprehensive about meeting with a group plus logistics around the holidays are always a challenge. I have to say this was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done through Zeta. I’m thrilled that the chapter decided to adopt another family this Christmas and hope others can join in presenting the gifts! We’ve added a new service project this year too. In May, we will honor our heroes by putting together a care package for the military. Be sure to check out the full calendar and see how we spell Zeta Tau Alpha! I hope to see you at a meeting soon!!! Cheri Armstrong, President

Bakeless Bake Sale Don’t Bake! Our Bakeless Bake Sale is a no-effort fundraiser to assist with the chapter’s expenses. Just add a small donation to your annual dues or bring it with you to any meeting.

WE WON SILVER! Congratulations to NASA-Brazoria County for receiving the District President’s Award for XI-Gamma which recognizes membership increase, programming and service to the fraternity.
