LAST WEEK Benedictine took a road trip to Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday, defeating both Lakeland and Marian to move to 3-0 in conference play. The Muskies gave the Eagles a run for their money, taking a 2-1 lead before BenU narrowly won the final two sets. Against Marian, Benedictine tallied a season high 13 blocks in a three-set win. IN THE RANKINGS Benedictine remains in the top 10 again this week with a #10 AVCA ranking, down a spot from last week. ABOUT MSOE Milwaukee School of Engineering is currently 3-3 on the year and 2-1 in NACC action. The Raiders have lost their last two matches to two nationally ranked opponents: Carthage and Dominican. Offensively, MSOE is led by Logan Baerenwald and Bryant Holland while Danny Martens leads the team with 63 digs. AROUND THE NACC #10 Benedictine and #6 Dominican are currently the only undefeated teams in NACC action. Benedictine handed Aurora their only conference loss this year while MSOE and Lakeland each have one loss as well.
