2013 Billi Billi Shiraz
90points Ben Thomas The Weekly Review Jul 2016 Billi Billi’s a perennial bargain. It smells of oak, spice, cherries and plums, plus a little of a wet stone character known as petrichor. It’s composed and energetic, with a nice blend between juicy cherries and blackberries and rich, ripe plum flavours. Bright and fresh, there’s just the right amount of tannic grip
to go with the wine’s easy flow.
88points Campbell Mattinson Winefront Website May 2016 Above average release of Mount Langi Billi Billi Shiraz.
It’s in good
shape. It offers an attractive serve of cherry-plum fruit flavour and laces it with modest lines of pepper and green herbs. It’s a fruit-driven wine that has turned its hand to savouriness. It’s not a big wine but it’s not too light either; it sits in an easy-to-drink place, without every feeling overly simple. Good buying.
