2014 Cliff Edge Shiraz Winemaking note Cliff The Cliff Edge Shiraz is 100% estate grown, showcasing the Shiraz vine’s affinity for the granite slopes of Mount Langi Ghiran.
The 2014 vintage provided good conditions for grape growing, with a dry and reasonably warm season. Due to a cold snap in spring the crops were low yielding resulting in high quality fruit with intense flavours and complexity.
Small batches and an array of winemaking techniques, including a portion of whole bunch fermentation, accentuate the subtle nuances of florals and spice found throughout the vineyard, creating a wine with individuality.
