Young Mountain Men of Colorado Presents: Eagle Rock Rendezvous Dates: July 16-19 Location: Terryall Reservoir

The 2014 Eagle Rock Rendezvous has been structured so as to meet the mission of high adventure programs of the Boy Scouts of America. Moreover, this event will provide Venture/Varsity Scouts with a flavor of the rugged men who explored the Rocky Mountains and expose them to some of the skills that were necessary for survival in this untamed land more than a century ago. Finally, it is hoped that these young men develop a lasting love for the Colorado wilderness and a greater appreciation for our western American heritage. We will be limited to the first 150 young men who register

In preparation for attending the Mountain Man Rendezvous this summer, let us help you prepare and excite

your young men for this fun event. We have volunteers willing to spend Friday night and Saturday with your young men to teach them how to construct some of the crafts that they can use for the trading blanket, sharpen their skills of hawk and knife throwing and other mountain man skills. You can bring your troops to spend the night on Friday and on Saturday morning we will begin the instructions. This event will cost nothing; however you must be fully registered and paid up to attend the Rendezvous prior to the Mountain Man School. All Troops who wish to attend this event must email Randy Nielson at Segundo@ youngmountainmen.org and inform him of the expected number of boys who will attend. A map with directions to the event and a schedule of events will then be emailed back to you.
