Place the compost blocks in the pots in an empty sink. Add water and watch the blocks grow like magic. Level the compost and push one seed into the compost surface for each pot ( you can use your other seeds in further pots). Place pots on a warm windowsill but not in direct sunshine (20-25°C - 68-77°F). Keep the compost moist and when your young plant emerges, grow on a windowsill in a cooler room (18-20°C - 64-68°F). When your plants are approximately 10-15cm (4-6") high in June-July, plant out 1.5m (5') apart from other plants. Harvest your Arty Bottle Gourds between mid August and October and store in a cool, dry place. By late November/December they should be thoroughly dry and you can now decorate them, either with stickers or with the use of paints - just in time for Christmas!
