The Big Dipper and Little Dipper move in a circle around the North Star every day. The bowl of the Big Dipper points to the North Star. The North Star is the point at the end of the handle of the Little Dipper.

Next time you are out on a clear night, take a look at the sky and see if you can use the stars to find your way north.
