SEW: This quilt is made up of six vertical rows of pieced blocks. 1/4” seam allowance is used unless otherwise indicated. To complete each of the half square triangle blocks required for the quilt, match up each pair of 4 7/8” squares shown. Each pair of squares will make the two matching half square triangle blocks shown. If only one half square triangle block is shown, use the same method to make it, just discard the second, unnecessary, half square triangle block in that particular fabric combination.
1. Mark a line on the wrong side of one of the lighter fabrics in each pair, from corner to corner. Place the marked fabric right sides together with it’s mate and sew two seam lines, each 1/4” away from the center marked line. Cut along the marked line, press seams open and trim excess seam allowance at the corners where the excess hangs over the edge of the square.
SEW: 2. Assemble three rows as shown. Piece the blocks that include the 4 1/2” squares of Snake Bruch Print sku 2022-1, then assemble each row. Refer to the diagram for the measurements of the pieces used for each block. These completed rows will then be used to complete rows 1, 4, and 6.
