Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer Nancy Wilcox gave the treasurer’s report. If you are interested in seeing the report, please see Nancy. If you need a reimbursement check, please see Nancy. This was done later in the meeting as Nancy was making copies of Treasury Information to hand out to members. It contained information on approximately how much was spent on The Holiday Party, Sterling Sisters Party and our 4-H Group. It also contained suggestions the committee had made to increase these amounts. Suggestions of ways to use our money were also included. A lengthy discussion was held on suggestion of how to use the money in our treasury. Dottie Christopher volunteered to be on a committee to get instructors for workshops to be held for our Allamanda Group. Nancy talked about the fact that we should have a vote on a yearly budget. The Year being 4/1 to 3/31 of the following year. One of the members ( I didn’t get her name) suggested we have a small committee each year to make up a budget and then have it voted on by the whole group. Nancy will have a budget made up and when voted on, a copy will be sent to all members. As a lot of members are not here year round. The only motion voted on was a motion made by Sharon Musch and seconded by Monique Foley that our Allamanda Quilting group give a $1,000.00 scholarship to our graduating 4-H Senior who is going on to College. Discussion was held and the motion passed. Pattie Barrett would like a representative from Allamanda present this award at the 4-H Awards Banquet in August.

Pattie also told us Bradenton is helping the group by providing supplies and they are going to provide lunch in June, July and August for the group. She asked if anyone that does hand embroidery would be interested to help the 4-H group do a project. Something for themselves or maybe a Christmas project for themselves.
