January 23rd, 2012 Minutes Opening Ceremonies—Meeting was called to order by Brother Kann Installment of new officers Recruitment—Brother Dahm  Recruitment dates-Events:  Feb. 2nd Spaghetti Dinner and Informational meeting-5:45pm start  Feb. 6th Steak Dinner and Bowling after meeting-5:45pm start  Feb 8th Rootbeer Bash-5:45pm start  Feb 11th Pick-up Football game- 11am start  Feb 13th Texas Hold’em Tournament after meeting-5:45 pm start  Feb 18th Homemade Pizzas and Action City or Ice Fishing afterwards - 11am start  Prospect list  Vendor booth - In UC during Involvement Fair Jan. 25th  Committee meeting - Tuesday after dinner Finance—Brother Kahl  Bills due 2-8-12  Updated bills- on bulletin board by kitchen Membership Education—Brother Johnson  Chapter Retreat- Feb. 14th 8pm  Committee meeting- Wednesday 9pm Operations—Brother Hanson  Missed crews  Tip of the Week - don’t leave rips on the walls in your room from taking off posters  Housing Fall sign up  All house - due Friday 5pm  Committee meeting  Motion was passed to have Snow Associates of Hudson WI plow the lot at a reasonable price Commissary—Brother Dailey  Tip of the Week - always keep the kitchen clean  Crew sheet sign up - everyone needs to sign up for 2 weeks

 Committee meeting  Recipes - consider buying new recipes Planning—Brother Carman  Missed meetings - same rules as last semester with 2 unexcused absences allowed and fill out slips if you know that you will be gone  Committee meeting  Updates - sign up for 2 different committees Alumni Relations—Brother Raethke  Directory Update  Committee meeting Scholarship—Brother Warmka  Scholar of the Week - Brother Moder  Hand in test files if you have them  Committee meeting Activities—Brother Govin  Main Street Clean-Up - Brother Dailey and Brother Warmka  Intramurals - Tuesday night – free Dodgeball. Wednesday night 8:30pm broomball - be ready to go.  Relay for Life - March 23rd and 24th.  Lock-in March 2nd  Committee meeting Unfinished Business Money from the adopt-a-family was never used last semester and will be decided next week where to donate it. New Business  Recruitment School Recap - Thanks to the brothers who attended; “Be the best to recruit the best” was the message. Get to know as many prospects as possible.  Minor Officer Nominees - elections next Monday and nominee sign-ups are on bulletin board by kitchen  Leadership St. Louis, Mo 2-10/11

Retreat Recap - really stressed on AGR participation and discussed about new points system based on it.
