EFAM 2014

If you’re… an established veteran looking for new skill sets and connections; new to the profession and looking for guidance; or anywhere in between, IAAP is there.

IAAP – Leading Administrative Professionals

Wait! Our journey together is not quite over. Please be sure to join us for our chapter annual meeting on June 17 (see Page 2 for details) as we finish off this business year by voting for and installing our incoming officers. This leadership team will begin a new business year by offering us a fresh start of endless opportunities and exciting unknown adventures. Our path to happiness may twist and turn, and most likely lead us in unexpected directions. But no matter what happens with IAAP, please remember – difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations. As you continue on your personal journey, please be sure to make time as an administrative professional and surround yourself with other like-minded individuals to learn about how you can improve your office and recharge yourself. You can do this through chapter meetings; in the online community; and at EFAM 2014 in Milwaukee July 26-30 (see Page 5 for details.) There is still time to register, so be sure to talk to your employer about the benefits for your office and your professional journey.

At your service,

Annamarie Zimmerman, CAP-OM 2013-2014 President

Chapter of Excellence 2013-2014 Our Wisconsin Division President, Lynne Woida, CAP-OM, sent the following note: “I’m very proud of Fox Cities this year. You planned top notch education, great social events, and obviously paid special attention to your members. I was grateful to be included in May’s meeting. Thank you so much for your attention to the governance of your chapter. I know how much time and brain/heart power it required, and it shows in the caliber and operation of Fox Cities. As chair of the Division Transition Committee, I look forward to helping and working with you as the chapters and division dissolve, but even more so as we brainstorm ways to educate and elevate our local admins under the new structure. I loved twirling with you this year.” Congratulations to our members who achieved their Member of Excellence status (Page 3) and made this an achievable goal for the Fox Cities Chapter!
