Call to Worship | L EAD BY P AUL V ROOM (B ASED ON P SALM 86:8-‐10)
Leader: There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. All the nations you have made shall come and worship you.
People: For our God is great and does incredible things!
Leader: God has spoken so let us respond -‐ may the Lord be with you People: And also with you
Responding in Song | Praise to the Lord & Come Thou Fount Prayer of Confession | Paul Vroom We’ve been called to worship a Holy God and as we respond to this call from Him with songs of worship – a mirror is held up before us and we begin to see our sin for what it really is. We struggle with our selfish tendencies when we think we’d be better if we were “free” of Christ. It doesn’t take much to drift away from trusting in Him. A little spiritual neglect here, a little distraction from prayer there, a little break from reading the Word, and we quickly find ourselves wandering. When our eyes drift from Christ, they see only darkness. Apart from Christ, there is no light. But there is good news, which means that there is hope. Jesus declared, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Brothers and sisters, the Light of World, Jesus Christ, has overcome the darkness of this world. We have seen His glory and from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace! Our Father declares that your sins are forgiven. Let’s continue on in worship to this good God.

“He is a Good Good Father who has forgiven all our sins in Christ. Brothers and sisters may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you… …and also with you! Amen! Let us greet each other with the peace of Christ!
