I hope this finds you in health and not suffering from hayfever like everyone in Atlanta. This time of year the pollen looks like fog but we have been promised a thunder storm tonight and maybe that will do away with the stuff. I have been to British Columbia by the way. Twice as a matter of fact. We took the train from Montreal to Vancouver back in 1980 and really enjoyed the trip. Then in 1986 we flew from Atlanta to Calgary and took the train to Vancouver from there. It was all very resting and such wonderful change of scenery for us. You live in a beautiful part of the world. The information you gave me on Stephen Whitlock and Nancy Davis came my way again recently through the Computerized Genealogy Libray in Salt Lake City. I went back to check the book on deaths and marriages in the South Carolina Upcountry and the information I had is correct. That Stephen Whitlock married Nancy Berry by her father the Rev. Mr. Berry. It is odd that there would be two Stephen Whitlock's who married women with the name Nancy in Greenville County as you said. I wonder if we will ever know who these people were. I wonder also if Stephen could have married twice and both of his wives were named Nancy. Especially since you said that Stephen is not a Whitlock name. Regardless of what my sister says, I still have a feeling that there is a connection to my grandmother. I searched the 1850 be a family connection
census and noticed for someone.
