• 4 or 5 thread serger in good working order with standard foot and needle plate, power cord and foot control • Tweezers • Screw driver • 1 cone Madeira Aerolock Serger Thread to match decorative thread (one cone will be needed for the crochet lace. If you plan to make your lining in class, you will also need 4 spools of regular serger thread to match your lining fabric) • 2-4 spools Sulky 12 blendables (I used two spools for my largest bag; however, it was a very near thing. If running out of thread concerns you, buy 4) • Double eyed needle for weaving in thread tails • 1 ½ yards rat tail cord or ribbon for drawstring (you probably won’t need this for class) • 1 fat quarter (18x22inch rectangle) 100% cotton good quality quilter’s fabric for lining • 2-80/12 needles for your serger
