Register Online at www.wcupagoldenrams.com Camp Director: Jad Prachniak; [email protected]; 610-436-2152 In two years at WCU, Prachniak has authored a 71-34-1 (.675) overall record and landed his charges in the PSAC Championship game in each season. West Chester won the PSAC title in 2012, as well as the Atlantic Region title, en route to the national championship that spring. Prachniak was also named the 2012 ABCA National Coach of the Year. Prachniak has constructed a 16-2 overall postseason mark in his first two years on the job, including a PSAC title in 2012. The Golden Rams are a combined 8-1 in the conference tournament under his tutelage, reaching the conference championship game in each of Prachniak's first two years at the school. Additionally, he is a perfect 4-0 in the NCAA Atlantic Regional tournament and 4-0 at the NCAA Division II Finals in Cary, N.C. Along the way, Prachniak has mentored a pair of players that have been drafted in the MLB First-year Entry Draft and are currently enjoying outstanding professional careers. Joe Wendle, a senior second baseman on that national championship team, was taken in the sixth round by the Cleveland Indians in 2012. Joe Gunkel, the tournament MVP at the national finals, who pitched 18 scoreless innings including the national championship game, was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 18th round in 2013 after his junior campaign. Both Wendle and Gunkel were named ABCA All-Americans in 2012 as well. Prior to arriving at West Chester, Prachniak served as an assistant coach at the College of William & Mary (2005-2011). Prachniak played collegiately at the University of Rhode Island (2001-2004).

The camp programs will be conducted at WCU’s Serpico Stadium adjacent to the Sturzebecker Health Sciences Center (855 South New Street, West Chester.
