The following rules outline the terms and condi(ons under which a team may use the SMLLA baNng cage. At the beginning of each season, each team's manager and coaches must agree to these rules, by submiNng a signed baNng cage contract. Only authorized adult managers and coaches may supervise and run the cage. The Team Manager should be present whenever the BaNng Cage is in use. To be authorized, you must: a. Have a LiYle League volunteer form on file with SMLLA. b. Have passed the background check performed by SMLLA. c. Have a BaNng Cage Contract on file with SMLLA. 2. Eligible par(cipants include players in SMLLA. 3. Only adults can feed the pitching machines. The operator must use an “L” fence protector. 4. There shall be no unaYended players allowed in the baNng cage. 5. Only one baYer and one machine operator are allowed in the cage, when the machine is in opera(on, at a (me. 6. When the machine is in use, the baNng cage door/gate must be closed. 7. All baYers must wear a helmet. 8. Use only the dimpled balls provides in the Iron Mike. 9. BaNng cage is for team or group use only, not individual use. 10. No baNng ac(vity may take place outside the building. All ac(vity needs to take place inside the cage and inside the protec(ve nets. 11. No climbing on the equipment. Kids need to be in direct sight of the coaches at all (mes. 12.
