DEFAULTS Team Default Policy: The clock starts at the scheduled time, regardless of whether teams are ready. If a team is not ready to play within 5 minutes of the start time, a default is declared. Defaulting teams lose the game and risk being excluded from playoffs.
THE PLAYERS Team Roster: Players on the IMLeagues.com roster will appear on the gamesheet and will be eligible to play. Players not on the IMLeagues roster may sign-in at the game, but then must join the IMLeagues roster by the next business day. Players not appearing on the IMLeagues roster by the next business day are considered ineligible, and their team is assigned a loss. Game Roster: ● A team must have FOUR (4) players dressed and ready to play by the end of the five-minute grace period allowed. ● Teams with less than four players are still eligible to compete with the number of participants they have; however, the missing player’s points will not count towards their team’s total points. ● Teams can dress a maximum of six (6) players on a team 2016-2017 Version
Substitutions: ● Additional people are allowed to share bowling frames of a player on the scoreboard if they wish. Only four people
PLAYING EQUIPMENT ● Bowling shoes must be worn ● Clothing for team uniforms should appropriate for physical activity and adequately cover the body.
PLAYOFFS Playoff Format: After the round robin, the eight top scoring teams will be seeded into Division 1 playoff bracket with the remaining teams seeded into Division 2 and 3. Playoff Eligibility: ● Teams must have not received repeated warnings for behaviour and/or clothing. ● Teams with forfeits, or repeated delays of game may be considered ineligible for playoffs.
LAWS OF THE GAME ● For Rules of the Game, please visit 5 Pin Bowling Canadian Rule Book ● Delay of game: players have a maximum time limit of thirty (30) seconds between shots. o Repeated warnings may result in: a) loss of frame for the player b) forfeiting the player’s turn for the remainder of the game or c) removal from the team for duration of the tournament.
