The Brand
More than 200 Anglican Churches make up the family of the Diocese of St Asaph and we’re here to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with our local communities. The brand brings together the whole family of the Diocese by incorporating a fun, vibrant and modern style, appealing to the younger generation, mixed with a traditional and professional feel through the use of our fonts and photography. The idea of the brand is to bring the community together and appeal to a wider audience no matter if they’re 5, 25 or 85. With bright colours, clean lines and simple icons, the brand gives us the opportunity to create topic specific materials to ensure the family of the Diocese of St Asaph have a clear understanding of our work.

Logo Do’s The logo comes with a couple of do’s to ensure consistency throughout the brand. Do leave a clear space around the logo to ensure readability at all times. The space should around be equal to the width of the “EIN” in the logo. Or for English only versions use the “OUR” in the logo.
Do use the logo at the correct sizes. To ensure that the logo is readable at all times, each logo has a minimum size.
14
Logo Don’ts The logo comes with a couple of don’ts to ensure consistency throughout the brand. Don’t use any other colours other than those in the brand guidelines. This includes mixing the colours in the logos or using anything other than grey or white for the single colour logo.
X
Do not stretch or distort the logo in any way.
X
Do not put the logos on a coloured background that makes the logo hard to read. Stick to the colours in the brand guidelines only.

THE COLOURS The Diocese of St Asaph brand consists of a collection of vibrant and friendly colour schemes. Each scheme consists of grey, 1 main colour & 3 complimentary sub-colours.
25
26
27
28
please note... The colours should only be used with their corresponding icons. This ensures consistency throughout the brand and gives out a clear message to the user about the message we’re trying to communicate. For example - If you’re creating a newsletter for families in the Diocese - use the family logo, icon and colours only. Colours can be used as overlays with text over images as a block of colour with a 90% opacity so you can still see the photograph behind but the text is still readable.
