This Month’s Spotlight Trish Feaster The sweet smile and gentle arms of Miss Trish greet each week the precious 2 and 3-year-old children. She has served as the Training Hour teacher for the past four years after several years helping in the nursery. Sharing God’s Word with them, she has a true love for the little ones. “Children have always held a special place in my heart, so it seems natural that I would enjoy teaching children,” Trish shares, “I love teaching the 2’s and 3’s because of the drastic difference from when they arrive in my class to when they graduate to the 4 and 5-year-old class.”

“When they enter my class, they learn to sit for short periods of time, listen, obey, and to participate in the lessons. Before they leave my class, not only are they doing all of this, they are remembering; I question them about the previous stories and what the names are of the people in the stories. They also learn about prayer, who we are praying to and why it’s important to pray. The whole process is very rewarding but the most rewarding part is knowing I am sharing God’s word and am a part of the godly foundation that is being laid within each child.”

For the past eleven years, Trish has been attending Foothill Bible Church with her husband, Steve Feaster. They are the parents of four adult children and have 12 grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them, each other, and friends. Her busy life includes a full-time job in the healthcare industry, helping her husband with the financial part of his business, and keeping the home. When she has a free moment, Trish enjoys making jewelry, oil and watercolor painting.
