Children’s Ministry
I have been attending FBC for 20 years! I remember my first day in Children’s Church walking, more accurately being dragged because I was so shy and scared, into the West Chapel for songs, stories and Bible Drills with Mrs. A. Growing up at FBC I have been involved in AWANA as a clubber and a leader, youth groups, small groups, women’s Bible study, and 2&3’s Teacher. The 2 & 3 year olds are a hilarious group and I love to hear them sing songs and share stories. It is a blessing to be able to teach the kids of the friends I once sat next to 20 years ago! The helpers I have now in the class were kids that I taught as 2 year olds and it’s amazing to see God’s faithfulness in their lives. I met my husband, Aaron, at FBC after moving back from college and we have been married for 3 ½ years and have two boys: Hunter (2 ½ ) and Logan (6 mo.) I am the daughter of Mark and Vicki Best and daughterin-law of Lee and Linda Mawby.

Thank God for the blessings He has given you Believers are to faithfully use the talents that God gives Rejoice that God rewards His faithful servants Jesus was rejected by the Pharisees, Sadducees, Chief Priest, and Judas Mary loved Jesus and gave Him a precious gift Confess your sin to Jesus and show your love for Jesus by obeying Him Jesus was arrested and tried; the people rejected Jesus as Christ Jesus’ death was God’s plan to save man as He obeyed God the Father perfectly Ask God to help you to serve Him completely Jesus was mocked and died on the cross for sinners Praise Jesus for suffering and dying for sin as you trust Jesus for the forgiveness of sin Thank Jesus for making access to God
KIDS FOR CHRIST Kathy Johnson is the Children’s Church leader for the month of March. The children in 1st through 6th grade are dismissed from the worship service before the sermon and will line up outside the entrance before walking over to the West Chapel. Parents can pick up their child after the worship service in the West Chapel. Mrs. Kathy Johnson Editor: Julia Buehl Foothill Bible Church, Upland, California
The children will review the Bible lessons noted above from the life of Christ as well as participate in Bible Drills and group prayer. 2
