Clubs Week Clubs Week will be happening January 15-18 in MacHall. This is a great opportunity to showcase your club, get new members, and recruit some Jr Executives to ensure your club’s longevity! Spots for registered clubs are completely booked up Monday-Wednesday, but we still have spaces available on Thursday. Use this form to request a table today. Your opinion matters. Don’t forget to fill out the Executive Active Feedback survey during Clubs Week and drop it off at the orange SU Clubs table for your chance to win a grand prize of $50.00 for your club. Chat with your VP Student Life and Clubs Committee members as they come around to your club’s table!

Are you a brand new SU Club on campus? Did your club miss the September ClubHub 101 and 201 sessions? If you answered “yes” to either question, you’ll need to send two representatives from your club to attend a session in January. These sessions are a mandatory requirement for all SU Clubs! RSVP to a session below. ClubHub 101: For new club execs or those who need a refresher (January 23, 10am and 1pm in Cassio) ClubHub 201: For experienced club execs who already know the basics (January 24, 10am and 1pm in Cassio) Not sure if your club needs to attend a session? Email the CSO to check.
Club Awards and Eric Lahoda Scholarships Applications for SU Club Awards and Eric Lahoda Memorial Scholarships are now open on ClubHub! Nominate your club or another club for a Club Award here by February 27. Submit your Eric Lahoda Memorial Scholarship application here by February 20.

Learn more about the experience of being an SU Elected Official and the campaign process at one (or more) of 6 workshops: • SU Elections: A Crash Course - Tuesday, Jan 16 & Jan 23 @ 5:00pm • Campaign Kickstart - Wednesday, Jan 17 & Jan 24 @ 4:00pm • Executive Bootcamp - Thursday, Jan 18 @5:00pm • Faculty Rep Bootcamp - Thursday, Jan 25 @5:00pm All workshops will be in Desdemona (map). Nomination packages are available starting January 29 at the SU office or online. Nomination days are Feb 12- 14. Campaign funding is available!

SU Election Forums The SU hosts forums for each of the five Executive positions. Follow these steps if you want to host a forum for any (or all) candidates: • Contact the SU: Email [email protected]. Election forum forms are online. • Book a Space: Create an event on ClubHub that doesn’t conflict with the scheduled Exec forums in the South Courtyard, Feb 27 to March 5 from noon to 1:00pm. • Confirm the Candidates: The SU will announce nominations Feb 15. Candidates will receive info on your forum from the SU. Be prepared to be flexible with your event! • Prepare your Questions & Advertise: You’ll be hosting and mediating, so plan ahead. Meet with the Chief Returning Officers for tips on hosting a forum.

• Hold your Forum: You’ll want to debrief afterwards as well. Election forum forms are due Friday, February 2 at 4:00pm. All club areas are no campaign zones. Contact the CSO if you’d like more info on elections or forums!
Volunteer Tax Program in Clubs East Taxes got you down? The Volunteer Tax Program is here to help! They will be running a free Tax Clinic out of the Clubs East area from February 26-April 6. The main entrance to Clubs East will only be accessible for the Volunteer Tax Program. Clubs will be able to access their lockers using the secondary entrance to the right.
