Configuring eduroam on Blackberry This will explain how to configure eduroam on blackberry devices. 1. On the home screen, select the connections area at the top of the screen, or select the Manage Connections icon. 2. Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. 3. Select “Set Up Wi-Fi Network”. 4. Select "eduroam".

5. Configure the connection as below.

a. Take the default setting “PEAP” for Enterprise Sub-Type. ITS 2014

b. Enter your network account username with suffix “@wlu.ca” and password. With the “@wlu.ca” suffix, you can use your Laurier credentials to connect to the wireless network at other institutions who are members of eduroam, eg: University of Waterloo. c. For CA certificate, choose “Entrust Certification Authority –L1C” If you can’t see the certificate in the list, then choose “”, and select the checkbox for “Disable Server Certificate Validation”.

d. Click Connect.

6. You should now be connected to eduroam.
