Collage Quilt Wall Hanging Marlyn Black
Fiberworks Collage pattern of your choice by Laura Heine (Required for each person.)

Collect a large assortment of fabrics with floral motifs, shapes, or objects in colors of your choice. You will need some blenders or small prints that coordinate. Collage foundation in the size determined by your pattern. (Pattern ease, cotton voile, and lightweight muslin) Applique pressing sheet Black fine tip Sharpie pen Small scissors that are good for cutting details

5-6 yards of 12” Steam a Seam 2 (This is required because it can be repositional.)
DO NOT select a background fabric until class is over. I will be showing you some different options and the pattern gives you some information regarding a background. When you complete your collage, you can audition some different backgrounds to find the best one for your project. (Ask me how I know this? It is based on my experience with this project. You will NOT need your sewing machine for class. Preparation prior to class

Read through the pattern.
You can press the steam a seam 2 to the back of some of your fabric. (Optional) You can begin cutting out some flowers or motifs of your choice. (Optional) Just come to class and enjoy yourself.
