Class Supplies
Pick an appropriate pattern (with assistance from the quilt store staff if needed).
ILT
Purchase background fabric for a minimum of 9 blocks of various sizes. Recommend a minimum of two (2) yards (3 yards is ideal for a quilt the size of the class sample) of fabric. Choose background fabric that tends to be light, the darker and more colored the fabric, the less likely it is for the true colors of the crayons to show.

Crayola Crayons of various colors. The more colors you purchase, the more options you have for shading and color variations. Soft #2 lead pencil for tracing pattern onto the background. 7-8 inch embroidery rings.

Size #8 embroidery floss in various colors. Embroidery needles and needle threader. Thimble pads
½ yard unbleached muslin to be used as a pressing cloth. Freezer paper (ideally the large box from a grocery store).
CO TT ON
Small sofa pillow for your lap.
