3rd Grade News Mrs. Gates-We are working on our 6’s this week. When we pass our 6’s test, we will be promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. Mrs. Pennington— We are learning about animal habitats. We are also going to make animal dioramas. Mrs. Probst– We are learning pronouns. In social studies we are learning about rural, suburban, and urban communities. Mrs. Trapp— We are going to
adopt a family before Christmas. We are going to buy clothes and toys for the family. In Language we are working on abbreviations and plural possessive nouns. 4th Grade News -
Mrs. Roach— We are working on elapsed time. We are donating to the Cache Animal Shelter. If you want to donate, you may bring items to help support our class. Mrs. Hall—We are having an AR party . 52 students made their goal. On Dec. 6th the whole 4th grade is going to Duncan Chisholm Trail Museum. The 4th grade will have their Christmas party and maybe watch the polar express. Dec. 13th is the 4th grade Christmas concert.

Band Update
Girls Volleyball Teams Win the City Championships Congratulations to both Pink Panthers and Crush Both of our girls volleyball teams won the city championship games in Lawton last week. Members of the Crush are: Mariah Simpson, Andee Wilcox, and Chelsey McLaughin. Members of the Pink Panthers are Raya Ferrara, Brianna Taylor, Madeleine Cordray, Mica Bookout, Micah Sweat, Grace Livsey, McKenzie Bookout, Kensey Black, Rachel Altic, and Sara Zimmerman.
Band Students have sold out of chocolate bars. The percussion has learned the tambourine, sleigh bells, maracas, claveys, guro, wood box, snare pads, bass drum, bell kits, and snare drum. They are also learning duets, whole notes, and many songs.
Congratulations to the 5th Grade Band 5th grade performed on Tuesday night and did an excellent job getting us into the Christmas spirit by playing many songs, including Jingle Bells! Q. What did Santa Claus say to Mrs. Claus when he looked out the window? A. It looks like rain, dear! (reindeer)
